Emperor Baby Penguins born completely covered with gray
plumage, which is lost as they grow to get the counter shade black and dart plumage which most of us know.
Baby penguins are different sizes depending on the species and their physical characteristics are adapted to
their natural habitat.

counter shade black and white plumage which most of us know. The change to adult plumage they get when they
