Do Penguins Live in the Arctic?
Do Penguins Live in the Arctic?
NO, penguins only live in the southern hemisphere, south of the Equator.
Some cartoons show wrong information, with penguins dealing with Eskimos, igloos or even polar
bears, but this is wrong and sometimes mislead the fact that there are not penguins living in the Arctic and
it is wrong the fact that polar bears and penguins live in the same habitat. Some penguin species and all
polar bears live them both in very cold regions but in opposite poles of earth.
However not all penguins live in very cold regions or the Antarctic, some of them live as north as the Galapagos
islands.
